Here you'll find a small sample of the work I have produced since 2010.
This section will focus on ceramic pieces from 2023 through 2020.
My current work centers on colorful functional items using a variety of stoneware clays which I adorn with hand carved, stamped or sprig applied decoration. My passion lies with elements from the natural world.
Bringing the beauty and essence of flora, fauna, landscapes, and other natural elements into my work allows me to capture the intricate details, colors, and textures found in nature, creating a connection between my art and the world around me. These colorful functional items serve a practical purpose but also have aesthetic value. They brighten up living spaces, bring joy to everyday routines, and serve as conversation starters. This combination of functionality and artistic expression provides a meaningful experience for those who interact with my pieces, and I wish to share that joy with others.
Pieces from 2023 are currently unfinished and will be completed by mid-summer 2023 along with other works in progress. Most of my ceramic works over the years have found places to call home and are no longer in my possession.
